Susan W.S. Geraghty

I believe in melding modern and traditional design qualities to create timeless and current pieces. The nature of the Northern Michigan woods, where I summer, is a major influence in all of my collections, from hand-hammered finishes that reflect like wind on a lake, to the silhouette of an eagle as it soars looking for prey.

My works are hand-made, hand-cast, and finished in 18-karat gold in Chicago.
All of my collections are made with you in mind, on that day when you aren't quite able to put it all together,
put on a Wheeler Design piece and feel great.

I live in a very busy household in Chicago with my husband, two young boys, newborn baby girl,
two dogs, cat, bird, and turtle. In the mundane world of chauffeuring and changing diapers,
I throw on a pair of gold dangles in order to get out the door with a little style.

I have a firm commitment to charitable giving and to show my commitment
I will be donating 5% of proceeds to the 2009 charity of choice: Save The Children.
